Villgro USA is a Global Network of Social Enterprise Incubators

Our work began 20 years ago when Villgro India was established in India, where 21.9% of the population still lives below the poverty line. Social enterprises, using the power of the market, have shown the ability to innovate, attract funding and ultimately scale.
But early-stage entrepreneurs often lack the skills, networks and capital to turn their ideas into reality. Villgro India supported such entrepreneurs, and provided the necessary skills, network and capital.
Later, we formed Villgro Africa in 2015 (to serve East Africa and Ethiopia) and Villgro Philippines in 2016 (to serve South East Asia).
A Global Network of Social Enterprise Incubators
We currently have our incubator network spread across 8 countries, including India, Bangladesh, Philippines, Zambia, Ghana and Cote de Ivoire, with the Villgro hubs present in India, Africa and Philippines. Leveraging two decades of on-the-ground experience of our founding members, we aim to support incubators that work with impactful social entrepreneurs, and help them succeed and scale.

To scale our impact further, Villgro USA was established in 2017 as a non-profit to operationalize a 'global network of impact incubators'
Our initiative of establishing and bootstrapping a network of incubators makes sharing of knowledge repositories, best-practices and cross-geography learnings through peer-learning possible.
